Hello all. Been trying to quality smoke for years now. But all I had is elcheapo Char-Griller grill/smoker with out the side fire box. I always had trouble controlling my temp, too hot to cold, you know.  I just purchased a smokin-it electric smoker and jeffs rib rub and sauce. So far this thing is awesome! I like the temp control of electric, and Jeffs rub and sauce have been great also. Look forward to expanding my smoking horizons with help from the board.
