I'm Mike from PA. I'm 40 years old and have been smoking for about 5 years now on my Brinkman Gourmet water smoker. I know they are not the best but it has worked well for me. It started out as something I just wanted to try after tasting some smoked tuna and has slowly turned into an ADDICTION, especially this last year.

I usually smoke just chicken, fish and pork loins but this year I have started smoking ribs (God I had no idea what I was missing) and just this past weekend I did my first Boston Butt for 10 hours. I think I have past the point of no return now

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you and learing all you wish to share.

Hey Mike,
Dr. Krol here and I am a newbie also. Just wanted to say Howdy and Welcome.

I am a heat control Gas Grill Guy and use my version of custom wood mix smoke pack . I know my ribs won't turn out quite as good as these Pro's on here but like I said I'm a Gas Grill Guy.

I just haven't invested in a big cooker since it's me and the better half most of the time, but the retirement thingy is on the horizon and since I love to cook it is qiute possible I willhave a new toy some day soon.

Got to go , so enjoy and keep cookin them ribs...I love "em.

All the best.
