Figured it was time to say Hi. I've had a Brinkmann Smoke N Pit for a few years but never really used it. Bought it on a whim from Walmart thinking "man, I'd love to smoke some meat". Ha, it took 3 years and finding this site to make it happen. Learned a lot about how to manage the meat and what modifications to do to the smoker to get a better burn. So just a general thanks to all those who post and answer questions and flow the info.

welcome to smf blink- i got a brink s-n-p too.(actually i got 2) any questions just ask=- any new knowledge- share. we're all open & good here. it's a good large pit & a great pit once ya "get 'er dun" .. lol
 
Welcome to smf! In the last pit whats up with the bricks just inside near the firebox? Baffle of sorts?
