Hello everyone!! As my screen name suggests I am new to smoking. I live in South East Texas and own a little Kingsford charcoal grill/smoker. I have tried a few things already, turkey legs, a pork loin roast, and even ambitiously attempted a duck about a week ago. Things are progressing nicely but I find I am becoming addicted :) hence joining this forum. I actually came here looking for some ideas on cook times for a small trimmed brisket and already learned a lot from the forum. I can't wait to keep going!

Welcome from SC. It's really good to have you here on this great site. Go to the search bar and enter brisket recipes. You should be able to get a ton of answers there. You might also go to the smoking meats sub section and look under beef.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe.
