Hello All!

We finally finished the move from New York about 10 days ago.  We closed on the sale of our NY farm two weeks ago, wrapped up a few loose ends and are now in our Pinnacle (Stokes County) retirement home for good.

We left a few smokers behind with family and brought an MES 40, a Cookshack, a Bradley and a pair of Luhr-Jensens for cold smoking.

I still need to paint the concrete block walls in the basement so I can put up adjustable shelves as there is a lot of stuff in a pile on the floor until then.  And I need to put up a few walls to separate a pantry/processing room and the wood working machinery from the main space. And install the commercial sinks in the basement and garage.  And there's only two receptacles in the whole basement so I need to wire that up.  And I need to run a 100 amp sub-panel into the garage for the welders.  And I have I have to epoxy coat the garage floor.  And I have four 120 gallon propane tanks I brought along for smoker projects.  And......Hey wait!  Isn't retirement when I get to slow down?  Geez!  And big game season is just around the corner, too?

Oh well. a busy month or so to finish the house up and maybe I can relax more then.

We're looking forward to the 7th Annual NC Gathering in 2018 and to any other chance to meet folks in the NC Group.
