. This is a really friendly place that has, and can, offer tons of info.

If you're brand new to smoking you'll want to sign up for Jeff's free 5-day eCourse. It's the best way to get your smoke on! If you're not brand new, then you'll easily be able to find stuff to improve the art of smoking meat.

Welcome!

Great to have you with us! Not familiar with your smoker either, but if you can maintain a constant temp over a long period, you should have no problems. This is a great site to let you BBQing skills blossom!

Welcome to the forum. There are lots of friendly folks around here with tons of knowledge and ideas. Just browse through the threads and check out anything that catches your eye. Be sure to throw your two cents in anytime you can. Please tell us a little bit about yourself

Welcome to smf C. You're about to learn all sorts of things here. Great people, with lots of knowledge.

I think the biggest problem that I'm having is keeping th temp down, wow its real easy to hit 350 - 400. Its a high press. burner and now I'm not sure if that was a good choice. I turn the burner down and I'll get to around 225 - 250 and the burner will go out real easy I've found out so far. The king kooker book talks about running the smoker at 300??
