Just gona use my Roaster....

    Don't throw darts!!!

    I'm just gona roast this year... was gona smoke for an hr then roast but I just think I want a plain ole fashioned tasting turkey.

    Using my Rival Roaster, can I get a FEW tips on seasoning it? I suppose I could over do it if I'm not careful.

    I have a hint for you. You said you were going to put it in the smoker for an hour and then put it into the roaster for the rest of the time. Here's my tip for you:

    LEAVE IT IN THE SMOKER

    How's that for a hint???? lol

    I like to take butter, sage, garlic powder, onion powder, and rub it under the skin

    Got my bird in my Rival Roaster. Thats just to keep it warm after it came off the smoker. [​IMG]
