Hello everyone, I live on the north side of Chicago where I crank out bbq on my Assassin 28 gravity fed cooker with my canine buddy Bruno. I primarily cook BBQ for my family, friends and the occasional Chicago Bears tailgate.
I may reside in the big city these days but I was born/raised in Kansas City. I worked on the family's 300 acre cattle ranch and enjoyed all the classic KC BBQ joints - Gates, Zarda, Heywards, Guy & Mae's, LC's to name a few. I started cooking BBQ when I couldn't find a decent BBQ place in Chicago and really enjoy the challenge of producing quality bbq that reminds me of my hometown.
