Just a couple of New Smokers

Hey everyone! My husband (Kevin) and I (Christy) are so excited to be apart of the Smoke crew! I just bought Kevin his first smoker for his birthday. It's the Masterbuilt Pro Duel Fuel ( gas and charcoal) smoker from Home Depot. My decision was made because of these posts and I'm so glad I got it for him. He was ecstatic! Being overly anxious I also got him hooked up for the first few smokes. We have the hardwood lump charcoal, a brand new propane tank, alder wood chips, hickory apple and pecan wood chunks...as u can see he is set up! We are located in Huntsville Alabama and looking forward to smoking some good stuff for football season and possibly making some new friends!

Welcome to ya both, glad ya joined us ! Yep, gotta get that smoker all seasoned up for football... Smokin & football are a couple of life's priorities ! :biggrin: If ya need any help along the way just ask as there is usually someone kickin around here that can give ya a hand !

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

 to both of you! I am going to be smoking a lot of appetizers for the Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays during the up coming season. ABTs, SBTs, Pigs on the beach, and mini fatties have all been tried in my fairly new smoker. I love them all. Of course ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, beef ribs, chicken, and turkey will all get there chance too. I have not tried fish yet but I'm gonna have to.
