G'day everyone.  I got a bit ahead of myself when I first joined and had already made a few posts before I found out here is where I should've started!  My name's Pete, and I live in Adelaide, South Australia.  I gotta say I'm very envious of all you guys in the US, here in Australia smoking is in its infancy so as far as availability of equipment and supplies goes, we have nothing and I mean NOTHING compared to you, but I'm hooked nonetheless.  I look forward to picking your brains and learning as much as I can!  A few of you have already given great advice about some mods to my smoker that have paid off big time.  Thanks!

First off welcome to SMF there Pete. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
