Early Girl, Brandywine, & Roma tomatoes are annual staples in my veggie beds.
Each year I add a new tomato variety to the garden..
This year's addition is one called Mortgage Lifter.
Here's a picture taken 6/25/13;

Today I was fortunate enough to be able to harvest some.
This is a shot of today's tomato harvest with yesterdays jalapeno harvest;

Man, I love the summer garden!

We had a heat wave over the fourth of July week (105 deg F and over everyday for a whole week) that slowed things way down in my garden.
Cucumbers are still alive but show that they're under a lot of stress.
Pepper, Tomato, and Cucumber blossoms dried up and fell off.
Things should start picking up again now that temps have lowered a bit.
