Jamaican Jerk style spare ribs.

    I wanted to try something different and ran across this recipe online, so I decided to give it a try.  These came out awesome and are something a bit different than normal BBQ flavors.  You get the sweetness from the pineapple, followed by the kick of the habenero cooked into the sauce.

    Haven't found a jerk recipe with pineapple juice. Care to share?
  7. I cheat and use Walkerswood. You could always add juice to taste.

    Here's the recipe for the sauce that I used courtesy of Malcomb Reed:

    - 1 cup pineapple juice 
    - 3/4 cup ketchup
    - ½ cup brown sugar 
    - 3-4 scallions sliced thin
    - 3 cloves of garlic chopped
    - 1 scotch bonnet or habanero pepper finely chopped 
    - 1T fresh thyme minced
    - 1T Jamaican Jerk seasoning
    - 2 limes juiced
    - 2 tablespoons butter
