  1. Archery season starts here Saturday. I passed up a few last year and ended my season without any venison. Dont think I will be making that mistake this year. I cant wait to start making some sausage and Jerky. Also would like to can some again, Its awsome to heat a jar up and serve over tators or rice.So what are your favorite things to do with venison. Good Luck and be Safe to any hunters out there.

I enjoy all kinds of PA Deer Meat, but my favorite has always been "Dried Venison", as in "Dried Beef".

It is actually much better than store bought "Dried Beef". IMHO

Best of luck to all SMF Deer Hunters !!!
