I just got through picking my first chiles of the season, some are a little young, but it will ecourage more to grow.

My first batch of Chichimeca jalapenos.

It;looks like I'll have plenty of fresh chile for salsas this year. I still will buy 90 lbs. of NM Hatch chile freshly roasted in mid-August. I'll give the location of where you can buy them if you're in the SoCal area, in a later thread,

Those look very nice. Seeing them makes me want to grow some peppers, but ive never been much a grower, just a consumer.
 
Nice first harvest,We have not many species maybe 3 a 4 hot ones

The rest are sweet,enjoy them.

Now that's gonna be a mess of salsa you have there Rich. It would be nice to have some of that salsa. I'll have to see in your later threads.
