I just got through picking my first chiles of the season, some are a little young, but it will ecourage more to grow. These are a mix of NM Big Jim, Espanola, and Lumbre. My first batch of Chichimeca jalapenos. It;looks like I'll have plenty of fresh chile for salsas this year. I still will buy 90 lbs. of NM Hatch chile freshly roasted in mid-August.
