Soooooooooo, it's been almost a year since I was last here, forgot my own username, go figure. Anyways, I've always loved the company here so I figured i'd bring you up to speed.

Got the Char-griller and modded it, and subsequently dumped it. Too much fire tending. I like the set it and forget low and slow cooking. So I built two UDS, affectionately dubbed "The Twins". Locks in at 225 and rocks for 20 hours (longest burn on 10lb bag of Kingsford Original to date). Here's the latest cook this past weekend. My first try at the 3-2-1 method turned out off the bone ribs that I glazed with a small mixture of:

2oz Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy BBQ Sauce
A "Splash" of Apple Juice
A "hand grab" of brown sugar
All ingredients wisked together until smooth, brushed on in the last 15 minutes prior to pulling the ribs
