First time smoking sausages.....Not bad if I do say so myself!!

I used my Brinkmann Pitmaster Deluxe (bday present, thanks mom!!) I've only had it for about 3 weeks now.

I kept the temp around 240-245 for 1 1/2 hr and used apple and maple chunks. The first 45 min, I used the apple and the second half used the maple. I also used a water pan but I used bud light instead of water (not sure if the beer/liquid was needed but why not.)

After the smoking was done, I added the meat in with the onions and peppers that were fryin up on the stove.

Try it and see what you think, let me know.

Wheres the Qview??????? Personally I don't think the beer in the pan does anything different than water so I'll drink the beer and use water in the pan

I got to go with twistertail on this. Fizzy yellow ninny beer is about the same as water. Don't mean to offend if that is your preference but if your gonna drink a beer-make it a good one.

had it in the fridge so I figured what the heck....was drinking Johnny Blue while cooking....don't think I'll be drinking any Anheuser Busch products anytime soon after them selling out.

You said it, to me drinking light beer is like going deer hunting and not loading your gun. Hey bud the brats sound great be sure to do a q-view next time

I only cook with the cheap beer. I have no problem dumping 4 cans of cheap beer into a marinade, only to be tossed down the sink. But I just don't have the heart to do that to good beer....seems like such a waste. hehe

Best beer is free cold beer

And I'm pretty ticked at A/B for selling out too

I've done my best to support our local brewery here in town.
Probably should have been buying stocks instead of 30 packs I guess

The new AB bottles will probably have a Belgian Waffle design on their bottoms...

Nothin' like throwin' down some good ol' Shiner Boch ... dark, stout and local (to Texas!).

After 34 years as a die hard Michelob drinker, I'm hanging up my loyalty to A/B products.

The entire country has sold out, and now the government is hording emergency food from Washington state.

Something is seriously going down, and soon.
I'm purchasing 10 cases of ammo tomorrow. Ain't nobody getting my stash.
