This is version 1.0. 2.0 should be up and running by the weekend.

This is the rotisserie unit that I am using. We use it camping over the fire pit so I wont be permanently mounting it to the pot.

I will however be making a mounting bracket on the side of the pot so I can remove the motor unit. I am also getting another spit rod that I will shorten

More on this as it progresses!

Me either! Gonna put the tape measure to it tonight so I can get the metal I need to fab up a bracket and the new spit rod.

I really want to spin a rib roast!

Thanks Justin! Order up a spit and get to building! The battery operated rotisserie works great. Over an open fire you can do 2 chickens or one of those Costco size pork loins. Batteries seem to last forever.

    Now, the Minitisserie 2.0!

Total cost of this upgrade, $2.00, not including beer!

    Simpson TP-39

Bend using bench vise. Bolt in with 1/4" bolts and my lock nuts.

I also cut slots down the sides of the pot to make loading and unloading the spit easier.

Looks pretty cool! Are you concerned about the added airflow from those long slots? I'm thinking you're not, but it's not insignificant.

I am not. Most of the time rotisserie is higher temp cooking. Should I do a lower temp and have issues I will fill the gaps. Plenty of options for that.
