Hey guys,

Just wanted to stop in to say hello, my name is Gene Osteen I live in Tallahassee Florida and am friends with Pinneywoods and Grouper Sandwich. My brother, Gator_56 is also on the board although I think he is currently a lurker not a poster.

I have a Brinkmann Pitmaster that I am going to convert to a reverse flow, a Bradley's that I don't use because I don't like the flavor of the food that is cooked on it. I also have a turkey/fish fryer. I love to smoke some Q but find that I have little time due to chasing my daughters all over with their sports.

I consider myself a novice but have been at it for a little while but am not such the purest that I refuse to take shortcuts on occasion.

Anyway looking forward to learning a great deal from many of the masters on the forum and look forward to meeting some of you at a gathering or two.

You know Piney??? I am so sorry!!!
