Hi name is Ross and I live in New Jersey. I worked at a Lone Star for 4 years as a broiler, until I met my wife and got a job with benefits. I always loved to grill, but was ready for something new to get into. I researched a while on a cheaper but dependable smoker and ended up with a Char Griller Smokin' Pro about a year ago. I've smoked pork butt four times, spare ribs once, and a brisket in the summer. So far everyone says they love what I cook, but they are family and I can never be sure.
I enjoy it a whole lot and do think for the most part the compliments are sincere. I am getting ready to smoke a turkey on thursday, but have not decided if I should go with 2 13lb. birds or one 26lb bird. I am afraid the 26 lb bird may be dangerous if I can't keep the temp above 300 degrees, but I am putting thought into it anyway.
Well thats about it I guess and its nice to meet everyone here that I will meet.
