We have been smoking on a MES for a few years and figured it was time to upgrade. Using the info on here and other builds as a model we came up with the following design. It will have over 3000 sq inches of cooking space.
Overall dimensions are 4x2x3, with a goal of easy construction and minimizing costs. It will be fully insulated, with an integrated drip pan and set up for a bbq guru or similar. Welded up the frame and some panels last night. Will post some more pics as it comes along.
