Just got home...only thing accomplished today was the gathering of some parts. Need to go see what the drum looks like before it gets dark...

Going to dump it out, drill the 3 floor plates and burn it again...
So much for the old paint...

I saw the exhaust in post 30. Well the start of it.(I'm just late to comment on it) A bit taller then I was thinking. It's what I've been thinking of doing on my project. That handle looks cool too. I figured it was the lid hard to tell what it was on looking from my phone.

Sorry for the confusion...the picture of the handle was taken on a table. The lid still had the liner on the bottom side of it. Been meaning to drop it off at a neighbors that has a Media blaster....been by there 3 times in the past week and Mike is never home. Tomorrow will try again. Mike does auto body/paint work. Going to ask him if he would be willing to paint the drum for me....I want something beyond a simple rattle can paint job....and that is WAY out of my league....case of beer and Mike will be willing to help me out....

Ahh I didn't think the handle was on the lid in the picture. Cool handle to. Nice to know people that can do that stuff. I have a guy that ran a bobcat for us in the snow that has a dustless sandblaster and can powder coat. Gonna get mine done there when I'm done with it. What ideas do you have for the paint?
