The smoker I bought is by no means fantastic, I'm a newbie so I just bought a Brinkman Gas smoker.

I seasoned the smoker today, everything went well but I noticed that the thermometer on the face of the unit didn't move an inch the whole time. I'm wondering what thermometer I can get to be able to get a good reading on my temperature on the inside of the smoker while i'm cooking.

thanks

Check with TJohnson he sells Maverick dual therms, that way you can monitor meat and smoker at the same time. He's an outstanding member here. Just click on the AMNS smoker link in my signature.
