Hello my name is Ken and I live in West Central Florida, this Christmas my mother in law got me a Char-broil Double Chef Smoker. Now I have always liked grillin on a bbq grill, we have a propane one and I am fairly decent at it. But after smokin my first fatty I swear I may never grill again. Thanks to all especially Jeff, I have been reading the info. on smoking meat .com web site and it has helped alot. looking forward to learning from you guys and gals about smokin meat.

First off welcome Ken to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. You will always keep grilling we all here still grill to. We just love the smoking process and the food doesnt hurt things either. So Welcome again.
