Isn't there some way to ban a member for false advertising around here?!?

Aside from the turkey, beans, olives (and I LOVE black olives!) and the avocado, it still isn't even close to chili!

But it sure does look good, whatever you want to call it!  (aside from the avocado, that is...lol)

And I'll take a couple or four slices of that cornbread, you definitely got that right!

Hahaha!!!

Cast iron Cornbread is the only way to make corn bread! Soooooooo Good!

CRAYFISH?  Crayfish.... you are really going there........ Well how about Cray Daddies?

<Chuckles>

Reminds me of an old Beverly Hillbillies show where all the hippies where going to the park with Grannie and Jethro cause they were gonna learn about smokin craydaddies!

Well men, I am at a loss for words here.  I thought "SURLY" we could "fix" this so called "chili" even with the beans in it ( ashamed to say I LIKE beans in my chili ).  But after reading the recipe several times and now talk of crawfish and seafood chili  I am of the opinion there is NO hope!  The patient has progressed beyond the point of any positive intervention.

We Texans are sensitive about our Chili, My wife's sister and niece who live in Arkansas always put beans in there Chili, I tease them and call it "Pretend Like Chili"   It's actually pretty good, but can't let them know that.

While reading most of the posts I am rolling and laughing!  Heck Foam next they will be discussing what wine to serve with the dish!!  REAL MEN!  Well that's for another thread.

Hey I'm with you there Foam.  Not an olive fan but recipe has been saved for future.  I definitely will try this stew.  Instead of white beans and hominy I was thinking maybe black eyed peas.  This just looks like one of those great recipes you can chop and change depending on ingredients available and your mood at the time.  Like the spice mix but even that could be varied slightly to take you to different corners of the world.  Could even throw in some left over smoked sausage.  VERY versatile dish and a fantastic idea. Thanks for posting Case!  I have a feeling this one will get a lot of use round my house.  Keep Smokin!

You can call it anything you want as long as you call me the next time you make it!

Nice looking meal, Case.
