I have heard nothing but great things about the bradley. My only reservation is the biscuts you need to buy for smoking as i would hate to run out. I hope you pull the trigger and get it. you will enjoy every second of it.

I've had that model for about a year and love it.   Had a rough start where the control board was DOA right out of the box, but they had a new one to me within in a couple of days.

I watch Amazon and HomeDepot.com for sales on the biscuits.  Haven't ever had a problem of running out.  It goes through 3 per hour and I keep a couple of boxes on hand.

The only drawbacks are the same as with any electric:  No smoke ring, no bark, kind of rubbery poultry skin and your friends with stick burners making fun of your Lazy-Q.   But like I said, I've loved mine.  Made a lot of great ribs, pulled pork and some passable brisket with it.

We have a pretty good guy on this site named DISCO.  He is also an OTBS member.  I believe he uses a Bradley.  Look him up. I'm sure he'd be happy to give you plenty of info on the unit.  Like Big Train, I've not heard anything negative about the units.

My electric is an old Masterbuilt. And I've been very happy with it.
