Well, I took modest bites. My first smoke today, baby back ribs on an Akorn. And baked beans there too. It was all good, it can stand improvement, but my first smoke was a success. (No applause, thank you)

Well ,John , you made a very true statement about improvement and learning . Be diligent and patient and you will soon see  great results . Keep a 'logbook' f your smokes and record everything you want and refer back to it on future smokes.

Have fun and . . .

Huge congratulations, nothing quite like a great and successful smoke session!

Thanks Guys!

School, I have a neat little hand bound log that my niece brought me from Peru. I'm noting all my charcoal cooks in it.

Way to go, John. Practice is always good. Remember, you can always eat your mistakes. Good luck and keep smokin' Joe
