Hi all,

I am new here.  I called Masterbuilt for a replacement heating element for my smoker and they don't have them anymore.  They are discontinued.  I bought it only 2 years ago.  Then my husband came across this site and told me to contact them for the 1200 heating element kit.  So I did, but they needed a model so I can order one.  But I don't know where to look for a model number for the 1200 heating element.  Can aanyone please help me?

Thanks,

alienmom

They probably mean the model number of the smoker..it's on a plate on the back..

Hi Craig,

Thanks.   But I gave them the model number of my smoker.  I need to know a model number that takes the 1200 heating element kit so I can replace mine that is no good now.  I called them and they wanted to know the model number of the smoker  for the 1200 kit so I can order that one.

Thanks Craig,  I found it.  There are 2 model numbers that take either 800 or 1200 heating elements.  so this should work.
