I Need To Get Smoking Sausage

Been gone for about a week and half. Down to NOLA and points south. Heading back north with a stop in Fayetteville NC to visit with the sons then off early in the morning for home.

I sure do miss my pups and smokers....LOL

If it makes you feel any better I have a batch in the frig all mixed up for the smoker in a day or two. Are you still shaking as bad knowing that ???  Have a safe trip home and get your hands in some ground meat...

Finally made it home just after 1 pm.

Passed here around 9:30 am

Brought back lots of goodies from old stomping grounds.

Zaps was sold to UTZ from what i was told by a store keeper in Nola.

man you got all the right stuff to bring back! the pig stand bbq sauce is awesome. that and some tony chaceries is great on some bbq chicken. and voodoo gumbo zapps too.....man you are making me homesick! i used to pass to the zapps place in gramercy everyday on my way to work about a year ago. had no idea they sold out to utz.

I was in the garage today doing some cleaning and got the whiff of hickory. Wen to the freezer and got 8 lbs of GB and 2 lbs of pork for some lebanon bologna this week. Think i might Hukki case the bologna.
