I need help

Can anyone please tell me about how heavy a 250 gallon storage tank is? I found one for free but, I want to be sure that I can move it before. I call and tell them I will come get it because is 100 miles from my house. It needs to be taken out of a basement amd up  3 steeps.

Hello and welcome to the fun.  Please swing by Roll Call so that we can give you a proper welcome.  As far as that tank goes, I think you will find that THIS is the reason it's free.  TOO many variables to figure.  Two men might carry it but who knows the thickness of the tank?  I think I would ask the owner how it was installed down there.  Only other option I can come up with is drive the 100 miles and grab hold of one end.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
