Well, I've been "grilling" for years. I have just started smoking last year. I did my first rack of ribs this year and my family is hooked. I use a 7-in-1 grill and I love it. My friend has an old barrel converted that we are going to start playing with soon. Anyway, I hope to learn alot of great things from all you experts. Yes, that was pure butt-kissing there.

Jim welcome to SMF glad you joined us. You'll find lots of good info and some great recipes here. Have fun and happy smoking

Welcome to the forum, Jim! Yep, this is the place to learn smoking...I'd like to think that no one here is an expert, but we're all willing to help each other out when asked. Some of us have more experience in certain areas than others, and with the whole of us combined, each of us complimenting another's experience with their own, we make a great team to cover most any subject.

Enjoy your time on the forum, and definately smoke up some fine grub to share with us!

Eric

Flattery (along with some great Qview) will get you everywhere. For that, let me be the first to welcome you with some "starter" points...I'm sure it will be the first of many!
