Just another instance of having no intention to fire up the smoker but having no choice after viewing all the threads, q-view etc.

I just put on about 5 pounds of country style ribs with Jeff's rub, about 1 1/2 hours ago. I've got some initial pics taken and I'll take more here in a bit. I'm smoking them at about 250 degrees and using hickory. I'm starting an apple juice "spritz" here in a bit. Once I'm done I'll post all q-views.

Great way to spend a friday night GT. Cant wait to see the q-view.

124 degrees and climbing. I'll pull at around 160 and wrap for a while. Pics to follow soon. I gotta get to makin' the potato salad.

GT,

That's what is cool about the q-view. It motivates people to smoke and make us all drool and inspire the next meal. If you can't tell I'm so glad i found you guys. So much info here. SMF is the place to be.

Thanks guys! Potatoes are peeled and ready to get cooked. Pork is at 131 right now. A few more hours and this whole thing will be a wrap.

If all else fails, blame it on q-view.

If you feel you gotta blame it on sombody,I spose we'll let ya blame us!I normaly blame it on a sale on meat, lump 1/2 off, almost out of pulled pork in the freezer-or bacon, ain't done beef in a long time, hey I never tried that, the weather is so nice,a new smoking toy,Heck I can find all kinda excueses-and ya- now and than if need be I blame one of my friends at SMF. can't wait for the qview(hmmm never done bonless pork ribs the exact way your doing them)glad I got lump! hehe

Whew, I almost missed the q-view. I had "before" pics but I got distracted and almost forgot about the "after" pics. Anyway, here are a few pics of before and after as well as a few of our favorite boxer.

Sorry about the last pic, it's hard to see anything due to the reddish/brown color of the pyrex dish. Hope you can get a pretty good idea from the other couple of pics.

I've never done the country style ribs before. How did you go about doing them (approx. time , and internal temp) so I'll know for future reference. Always looking for something different to smoke. Good looking ribs!!!!

Thanks
Jason
