That's what is going to happen if I'm not careful! I was given this as a birthday gift a while back. The Ken Onion Work Sharp sharpening system. I finally had a few minutes the other day to swipe a few of my kitchen knives through the thing to see how it works. In about ten minutes I had five extremely sharp blades! Thing works slick and the directions and operation is a breeze. There will never be another dull moment in my kitchen again! A plus is one of the local stores carries the replacement belts for the same price as Amazon!

..... I think I see that missing tip of your finger at the top of the picture.... in the out of focus area....

Grats! A sharp knife is definitely worth it's weight BBQ!

I've never seen one of those; I use a tri-stone...

Coming from someone who's done it four times, twice in one week, believe me you feel it!!!!

Yep this thing works great. I was a bit skeptical. If I have super fancy Japanese cooking knives I'd still use a stone. I spend days sharpening my flats, chisels, and gouges I use for wood working on a stone. So I don't feel too bad using this machine to sharpen my knives!
