If we knew what kind of a budget you're working with; the fuel source you whant to use; and the size of group that you plan on cooking for we could better answer your questions.
Prices can range from $40-$50 and go up to several thousand.
First off welcome Ben to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done.
