Smokehouse
New member from Alabama, but have been lurking around for a couple of years. Currently smoking on an Oklahoma Joes Highland offset, but started out on a Brinkman vertical/Electric smoker. Have taken a liking to smoking brisket lately, and now it is a passion. I had primarily smoked pork butts and baby backs until this year. Did my first brisket in March, and got it right the first time thanks to members' posts here! Thank you!
Few pics of my hobby, and the last is the look I get from my 5 year old when we go to a restaurant instead of me smoking something at home!

Hello and welcome to you.

Good looking food there.

You need to make that young lady your sous chef.

Looks like you're having fun with it all.

So keep doing that.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, she and little sis love "daddy's steak" (which includes both steak and brisket)

Surprisingly the wife took to brisket even though it can get expensive.

Got lucky today and found an 11.4lb brisket packer on sale at Walmart Mart for only $22.35.
