Just joined to increase knowledge and resources. I've been smoking for family, friends, parties, groups, and holiday gifts for several years. Won a few local BBQ competitions, but that is really not my thing. I make my own smokers out of recycled SS fridges, freezers, etc..... some gas, some electric, some off-set stick. Besides building smokers, processing fresh meat, especially pork, is my passion. NOTHING beats home-cure, especially bacon!
