RMMurray out of NC here. I've been grilling with propane and propane accessories for many years now and I'm itching to try my hand at smoking. I've come across many recipes throughout the years that call for low and slow, indirect heat and I've always said to myself, "Self, we need a smoker!"
I've been a Weber fan for a long time and have just been taken aback to the many mini wsm builds on here. I love the consept and can't wait to build one. I've learned so much from you guys over the past few weeks and figured that it wouldn't be fair to steal all of your ideas without at least letting you know who I am. So, thanks for the plans, I'll be posting pics and stealing recipes soon!

Welcome RM, I'm glad you decided to join this forum. You had been stealing ideas and such, I thought I was going to call the police. I just didn't know whether to call Indian Trail or Stallings or Fort Mill. I am in Greenville, SC since 1970, but I was born on the SE end of Mecklenburg County. So, Indian Land is not new to me.

I know you will like this forum. Your grilling experience will help a lot of us and all of the great folks here will be ready to help you with smoking. Good luck and good smoking. Send pics, Joe

Thanks Joe. In future, you'll call the Union County Sheriff's Office. We're not cool enough yet to have our own Town Police Department so we pay $12,000,000 a year for the county to provide us 21 deputies. The math doesn't add up at all, but that's a discussion for a different forum. #KeepPounding!
