Hello guys and gals.
My name is Brandan and I am from the lone star state. I am a sort of a newbie smoker. I have used a wsm for about a year and just put a deposit on a 24x48 offset from lone star grillz. So, I am going to try to take my smoke to the next level. I grill/smoke a few times a week and enjoy every minute of it. I am 27 and a cnc programmer. I look forward to help and being helped out with anything on smoking or grilling. Have a good day

Meats

pork (various cuts)

chicken

fish, usually salmon

some beef but it's crazy expensive here

hot peppers but this year's crop isn't ready

Woods

hickory

apple

maple

Equipment

Masterbuilt offset stick burner

ancient Weber kettle

Lodge sportsman hibachi-type grill

sometimes, just a rack spanning bricks over a fire

I don't do many big projects like butts or briskets, mostly smaller meals for two or four people, with some extra for planned leftovers. I'm eating a cold smoked chicken salad as I type this.

Hey Brandon, hello and welcome to SMF from a very warm East Texas

I've seen their website, smokers look good ? their vertical insulated looks like a Backwoods, but don't really know anything about them. Sorry
