I am a newbie here, name is Robert and I live in the Tyler Texas area.  I would call my skill level as somewhat above intermediate, maybe even close to advanced.  I have been smoking meats for several decades now, but a little advice from my competition level brother has really helped me out.  I smoke on an Oklahoma Joe smoker, the model name of which escapes me.  My DW bought it for me over 10 years ago for Christmas and it is still going strong.  I look to be in the market for a new one soon, but simply because I want to increase my cooking capacity.  Being an older guy recently laid off from the oilfield, I am looking at ways my smoker can help support me.  Anyway, I look forward to joining some posts here.

Welcome to the group!  Lots of great folks with lots of experience here.  It sounds like you will be adding to that!
