So we are putting in a pool....figure it's time to graduate from the "hey throw this on the grill" to learning how to smoke (and grill) as an art. Sure seems like you guys know what you are doing and enjoy doing it.

For now I am using a Kenmore 3 burner gas grill (10,000 BTU) and a small smoker box. If all goes well a real smoker will be the next purchase.

Anyone with experience smoking on a gas grill, please feel free to send any advice.

First off welcome to SMF bryan. You'll like it here there are alot of good people here that would just love to help you in just about any way you need. If you like there are many smokers out there that don't cost too much so you can pick one up for cheap and start smokin.
