Good morning everyone,

I have been lurking on this site for quite some time and now that i just recently purchased my stick burner following my recent divorce, I decided to join up to hop in on the discussions.  I bought an MES 40 Gen 2 at the beginning of 2014 and have thoroughly enjoyed using it.  I've done butts, ribs, and a few other things as well as cold smoked cheese and venison jerky.  I have what I believe they call the "Cold Smoking Attachment" and have put it to good use.  The stick burner I mentioned is an Old Country Wrangler from Academy Sports.  I bought it based on reviews I read here.  I burned it out and seasoned it one evening last week and did some chicken quarters and ABT's Sunday afternoon.  They turned out very well and gave me the opportunity to impress the new girlfriend!

That was a bit long winded for my first post, so I'll leave it at that!  Y'all have a good day!

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
