Good Morning......this is my first time here. I've been involved in smoking and BBQ w my family for years. I've even built a couple of pits. My first was out of a beer keg while in college. I never thought there was so much science to it till I read this website! I am currently building a rf smoker from a compressor tank. I've mostly smoked sausage and deer jerky. Looking forward to yalls expert opinions and advice.

Where abouts you from in Texas? I grew up in West Texas southwest of Lubbock in a little oil town called Sundown.
