I'm a some what of a newbie at smoking meat. I just got a Char-broil Silver smoker 2 months ago, added a few modifications, and so far so good. I have smoked and grilled lots of food in the past with a cheap old walmart-special charcoal grill using direct heat, but I tell ya there is nothing like tender, fall-off-the-bone, slow smoked BBQ. I'm addicted
