My name is Kevin. I am 45 and live in sunny Phoenix Az., just north of Hades. I am a native here, but I grew up in Southwest Nebraska where I processed all of my own game and meat. I used to use the, forgive me smoke gods, the artificial smoke flavor. But I was young and dumb so to say.

Anyways. I found this forum because I am in the process of building two smokers. One is from a couple of air compressor tanks and an upright steel square tank. This smoker I am building to do cold smoke, pig roasting, and offset smoking via wood chamber. Pics to come.

I recently came to ownership of an old fridge, about circa 80's, which I will be converting into a second smoker. I had some concerns pertaining to the plastic interior of the fridge which led me to this site. From what I found, the plastic interior is no bueno. I have more questions, but I will post them in the appropriate thread.

I am looking forward to the great information that is available here.
