Hey, good to be here. I live down here in South Louisiana.
Have been grilling for quite a bit of years. Bought a Masterbuilt 40 inch electric digital on Black Friday. Haven't used it yet. Found this place and hope I can gleen some wisdom from everyone here.
After 31.5 years, I decided to retire from the fire dept 2.5 years ago.

Well Hey DTerrell, welcome!  Lots of folks here with your smoker and lots of threads about it's use.  Get that baby cranked up and start smoking some meat!  Ask any questions you might have and folks will answer.

Yea, as I said I've been grilling for a long time but haven't smoked, anxious to get it going. You'd think being retired I'd have time on my hands, baaaaaaa, I extinguish those rumors.
