So for every other forum I belong to I use photobucket to host my pics and then link to them and the pix show up in my post in the forum. Except here. Is this not allowed here? For the life of me I cannot post pix from photobucket only from my HDD. http://s175.photobucket.com/user/Playr_album/media/BBQ4_zps3da594de.jpg.html http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w143/Playr_album/BBQ4_zps3da594de.jpg Are there restrictions since I only have 10 posts? What the heck am I doing wrong????
Bob...you are not doing anything wrong...but photobucket isnt allowed here at SMF....you need to use the photo upload process thru here.  Jeff's new rule with the No Off site links holds with that.  http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/125263/how-to-upload-a-photo-q-view-to-your-post

Now..with only 10 posts...your pictures will be help by the "spam filter" with Huddler..to make sure the images are not spam.  The more you post...the system will get to know you and they will be uploaded as soon as you finish.  Posting more and a bit of patience will help.

Also...if you are using a Cell, Ipad or another mobile device to post the pics...change your SMF settings to MOBILE....(from the SMF front page at the bottom) and that will help.

Thank you Kat for the explanation. I was starting to go nuts. Ok.No, I like to use my desktop for posting pix. So, I guess I will just have to post more.
