Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and I dont know much about it. Anyways, I bought my first smoker and I am making beef jerky, the thermo on it starts at 50 F and goes up to 400 F, does that mean that it is 50 degrees less than what it says (if it said 225 then it would really be at 175) or is it what it says it is. Thanks!

That's a neat smoker.. portable . It's got a wood chip tray and a water tray? An igniter button on the bottom right and 2 racks?

You might want to get a digital probe type thermometer you can use in there and your oven. Is much more acurate
