I have ECB model where the charcoal pan sits inside the body.
I have put Weber vents top and bottom, sealed the top, put legs on the charcoal pan, and put fiberglass rope around the bottom to help seal the charcoal pan (but it doesn't).
I cannot get the smoker to stay at a constant temp below 240. Only reason I can think of is the gap that remains between the charcoal pan and the body of the smoker.
Any ideas of how to seal this gap?
