Hey all! I am Ally, from Houston. I have a question I was hoping ya'll could help me with. I have a very old Globe Slicer, circa 1930/40, it belonged to my (90 year old) grandmother. She said it was a wedding gift. My husband insisted that we needed it, for what I have no clue, and now wants to get rid of it. I am not sure what it's worth but would like to sell it for a fair price; but more importantly I'd like someone to use and appreciate it. It needs to be cleaned but it still runs and the blade is as sharp as all get out! I have all the attachments for it. Any ideas on its "value"?

Hi Ally,

to SMF!

Glad to have you aboard!

I can't help you with the value of your slicer.

I'm sure someone will be along who can.

You could try posting this in the "Blowing smoke around the smoker" section.

You may get more replies there.

Hi Ally and welcome to you.

You might try "want to buy old globe slicer" with your same description

and see if there are any others out there for sale.

See what others are getting, and then price accordingly.

Something that old could it be a collectible antique?

Glad you're here on this great site.
