Hot Pepper Sauce

    Freind of mine makes this.  Pretty good on everything.  Can be hit or miss on the heat.  I used 8 qts. of hungarian wax, jalapenos and italian cherry peppers.  A few from each bushh.  Only had 6 of the  cherry pappers.  The habenaros are not ripe yet.  I'll make a small batch when they are ready.[​IMG]

    That looks great! I need to do that too. I did a few last year and added some small onions from the garden that just didn't seem to grow. Makes great Christmas gifts!

    Now that looks pretty darn good to me. I have some pepper sauce that a friend of mine made this year it just needs some more time on the shelf before I can eat it he says. But I do have some japs still on the plant. What's the recipe for this stuff.???

    Sorry it took so long to get back with the recipe.  I should have posted it at the same time.  Enjoy. 

    Annie's Hot Pepper Sauce

    1 Pint Canola or Vegetalbe oil

    4 cups sugar

    3 cups white vinegar

    1 large (32 oz) Ketchup (Heinz)

    2, 15 oz cans tomato sauce (Hunts)

    2 tsp garlic powder

    1 tsp salt

    Mix and simmer 25 min.

    Clean peppers (approx 6 to 8 quarts) (banana, cherry, etc.), remove seeds. Slice

    & place in sauce.

    Simmer 5 min.

    Fill jars. Process in Hot Water bath 5 min.
