Brand new to this,so here goes. Name is RANJR Bob. I live in Clackamas Oregon. I'm a retired carpenter and retired military. I'm pretty much computer illiterate. I have been smoking for many years, the old fashion way with chunks of wood which you have to babysit all day. I have just purchased a Green Mountain pellet smoker which I have only used once. Love it. Just turn it on and go have a beer. The meat comes out perfect. It don't get any better then that.Guess I'll stop now to see if I did it right.

Welcome RANJR!! Lots of good people and info on the forum! Like you I had been smoking meat for several years before joining the forum. It is true that even an old dog can learn new tricks cause let me tell you I have learned alot here!! Again Welcome from the great state of Ohio!!
Enjoy your new toy {the pellet smoker}
